Please e-mail us if you are interested in joining our community as an intern.

An opportunity to work closely with our promising startups will provide both an insight into startup's whole business processes as well as various practical experience that classrooms cannot offer. We believe that the best way to learn about business is to interact, work, and learn from motivated people through real work and problems. Our core priority is not only the success of our member ventures but also the valuable experience that interns shall get to become successful entrepreneurs in the future.

I was born and raised in Tokyo, and attended college in California, majoring in Biochemistry and Religious Studies.

I was made aware of VG by an acquaintance of Jeffrey Char whom I worked under at the American Chamber of Commerce Japan Journal. I was planning on taking a year between college and graduate school, and thought that working in the venture environment would be a valuable opportunity.

I attended Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, California, known for their strong emphasis on business and finance. I was appalled at how I was one of the only one science majors amongst my friends. This led me to minor in management, through which I took some courses which touched on venture industry, which sparked my curiosity. Further, I was always interested in learning how a start up worked.

I would like to understand more about how a business, especially start ups, worked. I believe I lack the practical experience of applying school to the real world, which I hope I can gain here.
